Internal imaging through use of an endoscope has revolutionized the diagnosis and treatment of many diseases of the digestive tract, and has saved countless lives. The three types of endoscopes that are commonly found in hospitals, rigid, semi-rigid, and flexible endoscopes, all have specific functions and form a routine part of the work-up for many patients with gastrointestinal symptoms. As the typical endoscope can be used anywhere between 300 to 1,200 times a year, these instruments are subject to considerable wear and tear and must frequently be replaced.
Increasing numbers of purchasers are opting to buy a used or refurbished endoscope rather than a brand new model when they need to replace existing equipment. As endoscopic systems consist of a number of discrete components, they lend themselves particularly well to refurbishment through a process of component repair or replacement and thorough sterilization.

Capable of full monitor use, this video bronchoscope permits full-size view of images, reprocessing with Olympus standard equipment and compatibility with high frequency treatment devices.
Olympus BF 20 Endoscope
The Olympus BF 20 Endoscope, also called the Olympus BF 20 Bronchoscope uses image guide fibers for high resolution and wide bending angle angles. Features include a wide field of view, a 6.0mm diameter, 2.2 mm channel and a 55 cm working length.
Olympus BF 4B2 Endoscope - flexible
The Olympus BF 4B2 Endoscope is a flexible bronchoscope, capable of 180 degree (up) and 100 degree (down) angles. This Olympus endoscope model has an insertion tube with a 4.9mm outer diameter and 59.5 cm working length.
Olympus BF P10 Bronchoscope
The Olympus BF P10 Bronchoscope is a flexible fiber model with a 90 degree field of view. Equipped with a forward direction view, the BF P10 operates with a 3-50mm depth of field. The Olympus BF P10 Bronchoscope uses a 2.0mm biopsy channel with a total length of 76 cm and a working length of 55cm.
Olympus BF P20D Endoscope
The Olympus BF P20D Endoscope is a flexible fiber bronchoscope with a 100 degree field of view and 3-50mm depth of field. This slim design model features 180 degree or 100 degree (up and down) use. The Olympus endoscope has a 55 cm working length for its 84 cm channel. The biopsy channel of the Olympus BF P20D bronchoscope has a 2.2mm diameter.
Olympus CF 140L Endoscope
The Olympus CF 140L Endoscope is a video colonoscope with a 12.5-9mm insertion tube with a 3.7mm biopsy channel. This endoscope model has a 168 cm working length. This Olympus model has adult colonoscopy applications.
Olympus CF 140S Endoscope
The Olympus CF 140S Endoscope allows viewing of the rectum and the sigmoid colon. The CF 140S optical system uses a forward direction of view, a 140 degree field of view and 5-100mm depth of field.
